My Hour in Vaduz

Vaduz, Liechtenstein, is small. Minuscule. Tiny. And I’m not exaggerating. It’s half the size of Corrales, New Mexico. So we’re talking small here.
Vaduz is the capital of Liechtenstein, which isn’t exactly Miss Big Country itself. Driving from one end to the other is like driving from Corrales to Algodones, or from Millington to Morristown. 2 1/2 Liechtensteins fit into 1 Andorra!
Anyway, my point is that it’s small. It’s part of the EU, but it uses the Swiss Franc, so we had to get money. That’s where Vaduz came in.

We drove around in circles for a little while, before finding a place to park. Then we headed off in search of (A) A bank, (B) The Liechtenstein Tourism Office, and, most importantly, (C) A toilet. First we peeked in the stores, looking at the prices on Swiss Army knives (I want one). Then I expertly posed next to the “Liechtenstein Cow” while Dad snapped a picture. Finally, we headed to the bank. We used a credit card to buy some Swiss Francs and skipped off to the Tourist Info Office. We got a souvenir passport stamp in my passport and asked where we might find toilets. We were told their location and we headed there.
Finally, we stopped by a supermarket to buy potato chips and beer. Then we headed off to Switzerland, ending our hour in Vaduz.
