It has turned out to be too difficult to update our Flickr feed during the European part of our adventure (connections, time, stuff like that). So maybe in December and January.

But I did want to share a couple of photos. You can click on them to see them full size at Flickr. The first is one that recently became our new desktop background. It was snapped week before last when we walked from the most western of the Cinque Terre towns along the Italian coast to the most eastern. We were headed down into Vernazza, the fourth of the five towns.

It replaced this photo of Sierra taken last month in Switzerland during a Sunday drive.

    I think we took a picture from that exact vantage point when we were there. What a marvelous place. Did you stay in Vernazza?
